Terms
O’Block is a puzzle game. These terms are short because the deal is simple: play fairly, and the coins are part of the game.
The short version
You get a personal license to play O’Block. O’Coins are game currency with no real-world value. Purchases go through Apple and follow Apple’s refund rules. Don’t cheat the leaderboard or pick a name meant to hurt people, and we’ll get along fine.
Your license to play
RayLabs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play O’Block on Apple devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The game, its artwork, its puzzles and its name remain ours.
Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the copy you download from the App Store.
O’Coins
O’Coins are a virtual currency that exists only inside O’Block. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the game, and can be spent only on in-game things like continues, undos and hints.
Coins you earn by playing live with your anonymous game identity. Coin balances are maintained server-side; we may correct balances that result from bugs, abuse or fraudulent payment activity.
Purchases and refunds
Coin packs are bought through Apple’s App Store as consumable in-app purchases. Apple handles billing, and refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Prices are shown in your local currency before you confirm.
Fair play
The Daily gives everyone in the world the same board and one attempt. To keep that meaningful, we may remove leaderboard entries that we believe were produced by tampering, automation or exploitation of bugs, and we may replace display names that are abusive or impersonate others. Repeat abuse may result in scores from a device no longer being accepted.
Online features
The puzzle itself works offline. The leaderboard, coin balance and daily rewards depend on our servers, and we may change, suspend or retire online features. If O’Block is ever discontinued, we will say so on this site.
Warranty and liability
O’Block is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, RayLabs’s total liability connected to the game is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes with them. Continuing to play after a change means the new terms apply.
